 Brief Description
This will be the 7th Annual 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run at Falls Church High School. The course starts at the school and runs through the surrounding neighborhoods. Awards to top finishers overall and in age categories. Random prize drawings! T-shirts to all registered runners.  All proceeds raised benefit the Falls Church High School athletic program.


Time Line
6:30am – 7:45am: Kids’ 1Mile Race Day Registration ($15) & Packet Pick Up 
6:30am – 8:00am: 5K Run/Walk Race Day Registration ($30) & Packet Pick Up
8:00am: Kids 1 Mile Fun Run Starts
8:30am: 5k Run/Walk Starts

PACKET PICK-UP
Main Gym Lobby - entrance 8. 
Friday, April 27, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Saturday, April 28, from 6:30 am – 8:00am.  

Packets provided by Potomac River Running.

                                                   
Awards
Top 3 overall male and female
Top 2 male and female FCHS Jaguar Runners
Top scoring team (male & female)
Top 3 in each of the following age groups: 11 and under,12 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70 and up

All participants in the Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run will earn a ribbon.

Courses  
Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run will begin and end on the FCHS track.  Kids will stay on the FCHS campus. 
5K Run/Walk - USATF-Certified, Timing by Amazing Race Timing, LLC.  This race will be chip timed.

Directions 
From I-495, take US-50/Arlington Blvd, exit 50A-B towards Arlington.  Merge onto US-50/Arlington Blvd.  Turn right at first light onto Jaguar Trail. 

No headphones, animals, in-line skates, skateboards, baby strollers, bicycles or roller blades please.


This event will take place Rain or Shine! Race directors may edit the course for safty and/or for highway regulations or may cancel this in the event of sever weather. Race directors reserve the right to deny participation.  No refunds to late arrivals.
